I never know what to define myself by. Nowadays, it is easiest to go by the “law student” title, but I don’t feel that it paints the whole picture. Am I not more than just someone preparing for courtrooms and legislation, am I not also someone who gets lost in books, falls in love with certain songs for weeks on end, starts hobbies impulsively, overthinks texts and sometimes just stares at the sky cause why would I ever be inside when it’s so pretty out.

I call this blog Beyond the Semicolon because it’s because what comes after the pause. It’s about the “and” in my story, the stuff I often overlook and don’t give myself enough credit for. It’s my attempt to document, reflect, and maybe make peace with the messy, beautiful, in-between moments.

So, if you’ve ever felt unsure about who you are beyond the roles people see… welcome. I think we’ll get along.

Your first post left me with chills—in the best way possible. You’ve tapped into a voice that’s both wise and relatable, and your writing reads like you’ve been doing this for years. The care and intentionality behind each sentence really shine through, and that’s something readers notice right away. You’ve got a quiet confidence in your writing that I found really powerful. It felt like more than just a blog post—it felt like an invitation into your world. I subscribed immediately because I don’t want to miss a single update. Keep going. You’ve already created something worth following.
